Join North Fork Herbalist Heather Cusack for an herb class in the medicinal herb garden at Herricks Herbs & Heirlooms.  We will harvest and make herbal teas all while learning about growing, harvesting, drying, using in teas and foods, and their many delicious, nutritious, and medicinal qualities.  As you enjoy the magic of the early fall garden, we will learn about mints, catnip, lemon balm, chamomile, sage, hops, raspberry leaf, basil, and tulsi or holy basil, with a focus on boosting health through the cold and flu season. Family friendly!  Heather has completed apprenticeships at the Boston School of Herbal Studies, Rosemary Gladstar's Sage Mountain in Barre, Vermont, and at Avena Botanicals in Rockport, Maine.  Her herbal practice is Heather's Herbals in Cutchogue. Registration preferred, but last-minute attendees are welcome if spaces are available.  Program cost is per family!
