Get that raised bed garden built for 2019! We’ve been gardening with raised beds for over a decade and have learned a thing or two about putting them together. Let jack-of-all-trades (and master of quite a few!) Tom Williams guide you through the process of constructing your boxes. He’s built close to 100 beds for us here on the farm and he has the process streamlined—from wood selection, cutting, hardware, sizes, assembly, and more. We’ll also cover topics such as filling them with soil and planting them out.

This is a hands-on workshop—attendees will be building and taking home an actual frame (either whole, or in sections to be screwed together at home), plus the skills and confidence to complete building the rest of their gardens on their own.

Workshop is $40, plus materials fee and tax on the lumber if you’d like to bring a bed home that day. Choose from the following sizes:

• 4’x4’ ($22 materials fee)

• 4’x6’ ($33 materials fee)

• 3 Tiered Strawberry bed, 5’x5’ ($49.50 materials fee)
