Varieties Offered:

Bangles Blend Sweet—colorful mini bell in red, orange, or chocolate, great for stuffing (each plant produces one color) (*not available 2026)

Gilboa Sweet (F1 hybrid)—(shown in photo), blocky orange pepper, very productive, Nick’s favorite (*not available 2026)

California Yellow—green to yellow bell (*not available 2026)

California Wonder—green to red bell with large, blocky, thick-walled, glossy fruit that turns red quickly under a range of conditions.

Shishito—slightly spicy sweet pepper, still very trendy:)

Ancho Poblano (Capsicum annuum)--high yielding bushes, produces 3-6" heart shaped peppers with thick walls, mild flavor, a favorite for stuffing and making chili relleno, called Ancho when dried

Cayenne (Capsicum frutescens)--(shown in photos) long, thin dark red fruits, fiery hot, traditional medicinal pepper (*not available 2026)

Jalapeno (Capsicum annuum)--compact bushes are overloaded with thick-skinned, blunt fruits traditionally used for pickling and chili, very hot

No summer salad is complete without a juicy, sweet pepper.  Your own home-grown are worth the wait.  Even though the plants do not get huge, I provide support (these ladders from Gardener's Supply) so the heavy fruits don't pull down the whole plant.  3" peat pot.
